Stax Museum offers summer youth programs at CAMP STAX

Know a Memphis high school student interested in music, history and/or media? During Camp Stax, July 9 – 26, 2018, teens will explore the history of Stax Records while creating podcasts, tours, and participating in other museum programs! Stax Museum turns 15

The Stax Museum recently celebrated its 15th anniversary with an event that also honored Stax legend and longtime Memphis musician Floyd Newman. The catered affair included Ike Griffith from Memphis Mayor Jim Strickland’s Youth Services Division reading a proclamation that proclaimed May 3, 2018 Stax Museum and Floyd Newman Day.
